Document arrange requirements

USCIS has some guideline about how you should send your documents to Chicago Lock box. However, you can find detailed information about document arrangement in here.
Each applicant in your household must have own AOS package, i.e. one AOS package in a single envelope. i.e. If you are married with no kids, you should have two envelopes for both you and your spouse.
Each AOS package should have these documents. Arranging these documents is also very important and USCIS lockbox will appreciate it (in rare case, your application may get reject if you follow wrong arrangement as they cannot find the documents)
Place documents on this order, i.e. Cover letter on top. Then, use sticky tabs to label each document you have attached. Then try to assemble Form I-485 and it’s supporting documents in a single bundle. Use a heavy clip (fasteners medium size). DO NOT STAPLE your documents EVER.

Then use paper clips to attach the small envelop with your photos on I-485 top.

Then keep the form I-693 form on top of that.

Then place the eNotification form and Payment method and Cover letter. Finally Use a bigger heavy clip to hold everything together.

Finally, put everything inside a bigger envelop and label the envelop as “Diversity Visa Program based Adjustment of Status Application. Original Submission Form I-485
Finally, you can use either USPS priority mail, FedEx or UPS mail carboard envelop to put this envelop and mail to the correct address. If you have spouse (and kids)  you can put all yellow envelopes in a single mail carboard envelop. You should send them all together not separately.
